One killed and several injured in Arizona intersection crash

Road closures can occur for various reasons. Most time this is due to road construction, but some Arizona drivers might encounter a roadblock or a detour due to a serious automobile collision. Numerous dangers and risks exist on the roadways, and when a driver fails to drive safely, they add to these dangers. A negligent driver could seriously injure or even kill another driver or passenger on the road. This could result in criminal and civil penalties for the driver at fault

Authorities in Tempe recently responded to a fatal car accident that occurred around 1:15 p.m. near the intersection of Apache Boulevard and McClintock Drive. Police officers believe that the crash was caused when a green sedan collided with a bronze Ford. According to reports, five people were in the sedan at the time of the crash.

Emergency crews reported that a backseat passenger inside the sedan was pronounced dead. Four people in the green car were trapped and had to be rescued. Several people were reportedly injured, but it is not clear how many suffered injuries in the crash. The investigation of the crash is still ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.

After an investigation has been completed by officials, the resulting report could determine fault and liability, which may be helpful to those pursuing a lawsuit. The expenses and damages that result from a crash could be great, and seeking compensation could help victims alleviate these costs and help them recover from their injuries.

A negligent driver could easily cause a serious and even fatal accident. Even when some drivers practice safe driving, an unsuspecting driver could be greatly harmed by a driver who fails to follow the rules of the road. This could greatly affect the victim and their family members. Therefore, it is important for them to understand their options so they can take appropriate actions.
