Arizona head-on collision kills four and injures two

Tragedy could suddenly occur and could affect numerous victims. This is often the case when it comes to an automobile collision. No matter the time of day, when a driver fails to pay attention or drive safely, they could be the cause of a fatal car accident. In some incidents, two or more parties in the incident could have contributed to the crash. Even in these matters, those affected by the crash could still file a civil claim so long as they were not the primary contributors to the incident.

Authorities in Bylas recently reported that a two-vehicle crash left four victims dead. Officials of the Arizona Department of Public Safety stated that the accident was a head-on collision and involved a car and a pickup truck. Preliminary reports indicate that the crash occurred around 10 p.m. on U.S. 70.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they pronounced three of the passengers in the automobile dead at the scene. A fourth passenger was transported to the hospital where the person later died. Both drivers were injured in the crash and were also injured and were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Investigation is still ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time. The cause or speculations of the cause were not reported, but it was indicated that the driver of the car was guarded while receiving treatment at the hospital. If the driver is found liable for the crash, that person could face serious criminal penalties and civil liabilities.

Whether a driver is fully, mostly or partially liable for a crash causing serious injuries or death, they could have civil claims filed against them. This could come in the form of a wrongful death suit or personal injury suit. Either claim could provide the injured party or loved ones of the deceased with compensation. The monetary award could be used to cover expenses such as funeral bills, medical costs, damages and pain and suffering.

Following serious auto accidents, it is important that those involved and affected by the incident fully investigate the accident and completely understand their legal options. This could help them cope with the loss of a loved one and alleviate financial burdens caused by the fatal crash.
