Man killed in motorized bike crash in Phoenix

Drivers in Arizona understand that some activities on the roadway are dangerous. Furthermore, some vehicles have higher tendencies to become involved in an accident. Motorcycles are small vehicles that can often go unnoticed on the roadway. In addition, if a collision occurs with a motorcycle, there is a higher chance that the driver will be seriously injured or killed. Even if the driver wears a helmet and protective gear, these safety features only help so much in a high-impact crash.

A collision between a motorized bike and an automobile was recently reported to emergency crews in Phoenix. Officer responded to the call and found that a 47-year-old man was killed following a fatal motorcycle crash.

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the bike was traveling southbound near the intersection of Cave Creek and New River Road. The 17-year-old driver of an automobile was traveling northbound and tried to turn westbound at this intersection. When making this turn, the driver of the car crashed into the motorcyclist.

The biker was transported to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries. No injuries were reported to the young driver. No citations were issued at this time. but the motorcycle accident remains under investigation. In instances like this, a driver might have been negligent and caused the crash.

If a driver is at fault, he or she could face both criminal and civil liabilities for the death of another driver. In this case, the loved ones of the deceased biker may be eligible to file a wrongful death suit. This could result in compensation to cover expenses such as medical bills, funeral costs, damages and pain and suffering.

Those dealing with the death of a loved one in an accident should understand that they do not need to handle it on their own. A successful wrongful death claim could reduce their financial burdens and assist in the coping process.
